We
saw a lot of awesome devices being launched today at MWC 2014. It was a
pretty busy day and it ended in style, with Samsung’s Unpacked5 event,
where they announced their new flagship smartphone, the highly
anticipated (and leaked) Galaxy S5. If you’ve been keeping tabs on the
rumours, then you know everything the phone has, including how it looks,
as today we saw the leaked photos just a few hours before the official
unveiling.
Samsung’s
track record with the Galaxy series is pretty impressive, having sold
over 200 million devices worldwide, and if the trend keeps it, the
Galaxy S5 will have lots of sales. The design of the device is somewhat
similar to the old Galaxy S2, having a more “blocky” design than the
Samsung Galaxy S4. The look of the device is also influenced by its
colour, and in this case, the Galaxy S5 will be available in charcoal
Black, shimmery White, electric Blue and copper Gold.Samsung Galaxy S5 Specs
Samsung
has packed a lot of power in their Galaxy S5. Even though we knew most
of its features before it saw the light of they, we are still peased
that Samsung has decided to add the fingerprint scanner and make the
device water resistant. However, the pattern design on the back might
not be to everyone’s taste. Nevertheless, we should take a look
underneath the hood of this awesome smartphone and see what makes it
tick:
